Pictures from the Parties

First, we had a combined birthday party for the kids this year, and it was a few weeks ago.  Yea, I know I've been slacking on the cute kid pictures on here lately.  We did a joint party for both kids because we splurged getting a GIANT bouncy castle rented for the entire day!  It started early in the morning with our kids and the neighbors bouncing around, and by the end of the day....

We had the cornhole boards out, and other games.  Plus we had a tin tub out with waters and juice boxes for the kids.  But since it is summertime in the south, we ended up with lots of cold beer in there.  That's when I had to tell the other dads "Well Ferb, I know what we're going to do today".  And then by 5 pm after the kids had all gone home, my brother in law and I ended up cutting flips in the bouncy castle.  We talked a few of the other grownups into it too, but they didn't have the mustard to cut flips.

On the more low-key note, my birthday was this past sunday and I turned 38.  Nothing happens when you turn 38, so the whole day was pretty boring.  I don't make a big deal about my birthday, so we certainly downplayed it.

Evil Genius got me some underwear.  She wanted to get me a bra for some reason.

Kelley ordered me a new Garmin 310xt, but it didn't get here yet so she wrapped up our old garmin instead. 

It was a good birthday, I certainly felt loved by my family and friends.  Thanks for all the well wishes!
