Now with more Disney!

Tuesday we headed into the Magic Kingdom for some fun. Highlights include seeing the Lion King show and having one of the best meals ever in the Beasts Castle at 4:30 in the afternoon like old people. It was pretty awesome.

The Lion King show was amazing!

We had dinner in the forbidden west wing of the Beasts Castle. If you remember Beauty and the Beast this is where the rose was kept, and if the Beast didn't find true love before the last petal fell from the rose he would stay like that forever. They had a rose in the west wing, and every 7 minutes you would see a petal fall down, then hear a lightning strike and the torn picture of the Prince would turn into the Beast. It made it difficult to read the menu in there, but was a really cool effect. If you're trying to get reservations, the plan is called "Be Our Guest". Get in there.

The main ballroom was quite detailed

This other picture room had a giant dancing statue

Later we got to meet the Beast!

Maleficent!

Even the napkins were folded like a rose!

Tuesday was a solid day at the main park. it was hot, we ate a really good meal, and then crashed hard when it was over.

Wednesday was another story! Mom, Dad, and Ella went over to Sea World while Kelley and I took Evil Genius around to the Hollywood Studios park. We had a fastpass for the Frozen singalong and I hit up the Star Tours (but EG was too scared for that one). I think Hollywood Studios was actually my favorite park of them all. It was still hot but seemed less crowded and I was the most interested in their attractions.

Eventually we hopped over to Epcot where we met everyone else in Italy. Germany is right next to Italy over there, and they had some fantastic beers. Actually getting to drink beer with my dad was one of the best parts of the whole trip for me.

We had dinner in Norway and called it a day after that. We thought the kids would want to stick around for the fireworks, but they wanted to get back to the resort to watch a movie instead. Then they wanted to swim. So apparently swimming > movie > fireworks. They may be my kids after all.

That pictures with the reflection of the castle in your sunglasses is really cool! Looks like you had a great time! Your kids are at such great ages to go to a place like Disney World. I've never been and I don't know that I will ever go (can't handle crowds!) but it does look like a super magical place!
