Three Things Thursday

1. Every pair of pants I own is now 2" - 3" too big in the waist. I bought most of those pants in the spring when I was "done" losing weight about 10 lbs ago. It's a nice problem to have, and I'm sure it won't last long after Ironman. For the record, I'm 36 years old, 6'1", and the 32" jeans are pretty loose, most of them are 34's which is still a really small size for a grown-ass man's pants.

2. Winter has arrived in NC very briskly. High temps for the week and weekend are only 61*. I'm taking bigun camping for the first time saturday night with her Indian Princess tribe, we are both incredibly excited. It will be chilly though. At least I'll get some good pictures.

Also remember that with winter settling in, our natural vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels are going to drop. I like to supplement since the sun just doesn't shine for 14 hours a day anymore and we don't have as much skin exposed. But if you've got a food source for those I'd love to hear about it!

3. Ironman Florida is only 15 days and 22 hours away. ZOMG!

Awesome about the weight loss!!! That is amazing. You're going to kill your Ironman. I'm excited for you!

Have fun camping, that sounds like a great little father/daughter trip!

Your "About Me" blurb still claims you're only 35. You may want to change that to "30-something" so you don't have to remember to edit it every birthday. Just every decade.

Have fun camping.

I personally hate camping. I like nature only in short spurts and then I like to have a warm place to go to, a place with a roof and a fridge full of beer. That latter is part of the reason I'll never have a 32" waist.

But it's worth it.

It's a good feeling when clothes are too big on you! Now go buy some new ones - I am confident that this is not temporary and is your new weight. Do you still own jeans from your heavier days? If so, you should do a photo of you holding them against your new, kickass body!

IMFL is coming so fast!!

I'm not a camper. I don't like peeing in the dark.

You're going to totally rock IMFL with your skinny self - have fun doing it!

Off to take my vit D & B complex...

Is it 61 and sunny or 61 and gloomy---if the former then stop complaining! JK!!!!

I totally wish I had the big clothing problem! Lucky you :)

Flynn, you are Queen Daddy for going Princessing with the chickadees. I don't camp unless it is in our RV! Sounds like you are getting super skinny. I would also love to see some skinny jeans vs big guy jeans. Larry was a 28/32 when I married him. 5 years later he was 34/32 and he has stayed there for seven years. You might be surprised what weight your body likes.

good luck on the Ironman, Florida is finally getting some really great temps so I hope they hold out for you.

Great job on the weight loss too! My hubs refuses to buy pants that fit and I think it's because he too thinks a smaller size isn't manly
