A Good Time for All

Frayed Laces posted something today that is near and dear to my heart. must. add. link. Triathlon is just like smoking - yes that's a fantastic point of view.

Last weekend I ran June's half marathon. There are some wildfires burning on the coast, and the smoke is all around Raleigh too. So it was quite nasty outside. Tough to breathe anyway. And this week it's been in the 95-99 degree range the entire time, so there's no way I was going to be pounding the pavement. Treadmill gimme another good time please.

1:41:14 is a pretty good time. Quite speedy in my book. I'm getting much closer to that 1:39 goal time. And June's half marathon is in the books. It was on the treadmill, 13.1 miles, and it's done with now.

This is a special week, my eldest daughter turns 6 tomorrow. I'm sure there will be plenty of pics to put up soon enough.

LOL - I really liked that frayed laces post too!

I had to bust out a long run on the treadmill last summer when there was a ton of smoke from wildfires here too. I hated every second of it :P I don't know how you are busting out 13.1 miles on there on a regular basis!!

I guess it beats the smokey atmosphere, but I despise the treadmill. I'll have to check out Frayed Laces!

The furthest I have ran on a treadmill is 8 miles I think? It was torture. Hated it. So good for you for doing 13.1!

You are so speedy these days! It's inspiring!
