5 Things Friday

1. This
true.  all true.
2. During the 50k last weekend my left knee got a sharp pain that of course cleared up during recovery. As soon as I felt it, I checked the garmin and found that the pain started at 26.66 miles exactly. So now that will be known as the demonic knee.

3. This week has been all recovery with a slight hint of mania. Lots of yoga and I got to swim last night. 2100 yards nearly made my arms fall off. I can't wait to get my swim volume back up. It felt great last night. Give me moar!

4. I'm not signed up for any more races right now. How long do you think that will last?

5. Evil Genius broke my lotus yesterday after finishing my yoga practice. Really, we are both wearing shorts here.

Kids really do watch everything we do

I'm sure you've already been trolling for more races so I'll give it about a month!

No races? I am sure that will last for a couple of weeks. I am actually not signed up for any either, but I am hiking Mt. Whitney, pacing someone the next weekend after that, probably setting the course for a 50 mile race the weekend after that, etc... Oh! And I will put my name in the lottery for Western. But I am not signed up for any races! I am sure you are very similar.

I am betting it will last less than 2 weeks.

No races on the horizon can be a scary place. Careful not to rebound and sign up for too many!!

I am giving you until the end of the month to find another race. ;) I don't have any races right now but that's because it's off season here in Minnesota. So I am just running for the fun of it, like today I did 10 miles and it was awesome. I ran in the middle of the day because that is what my scheduled allowed for and it was great to go as far and as fast as I felt like! I don't know what my race plans are for 2015. I am still in the process of finding a doctor up here and I want to see if I can get clearance to run a marathon - if so, I will do Twin Cities, and probably some other smaller races in between. So if I do Twin Cities, you should too. Then you can cross Minnesota off your list and help me break 4 hours. And it's a beautiful marathon course! :)

I love the comment about kids watching everything we do. As a new dad i can attest to that fact. Best wishes planning out your races tomorrow. Lol
