Weekend Warrior

New Years weekend I started a project in the shed that wrapped up recently. I added a built-in workbench that was roughly 10' long and about 2' wide, as wide as the wall would allow without blocking the doorway. I used leftover 2x4's from the roof construction to frame it up, and leftover siding boards (Gene's roughcut pine) to make the shelf & top. It came out really well and I'm quite proud of it.

This thing is solid and sturdy

Not the cleanest end caps but they will do

I'm 6'1" for comparison. This thing is huge!

Got my special helpers out sitting on it too
This was a really fun project and I am really looking forward to doing some more woodworking again now that I have an appropriate space for it.
