I smoked over a pack a day for 15 years and got really overweight. Now I'm an endurance junkie with lots of marathons, century rides, half and full ironmans, and ultramarathons under my belt. Check back often to watch the progress from smoking 26.2 cigarettes a day to running 26.2 miles, or from Iron Lung to Ironman.

That is so cool that you are teaching your daughters about volunteering at such a young age. Very cool. I really should find a way to volunteer down here. I used to volunteer at his organization called Feed My Starving Children when I lived in Minneapolis and we would pack up these individual packets of food that would feed kids in places like Haiti. So now I should try to find a similar organization here in Charlotte.
I think you should change your wordless wednesday posts to just "Wednesday".
Great Pics for a Great day of doing. Thanks for sharing.
I love your story! It's so inspiring. I have been doing triathlons and I know how hard they are, so to go from being a smoker to ironman is nothing short of impressive :)
